PLUG Standard Membership

An annual PLUG membership is only $25 Canadian. Come to a meeting to join. Standard Membership is for those living close enough to come to a meeting. If you don't and there isn't any other nearby LUG (Linux User Group) you might be interested in a  Virtual Membership. If you have questions, email the president.

  1. A free SuSE or Knoppix CD-R. These cool disc lets you run Linux anywhere by simply popping it in the drive and booting from it!

  2. The Linux OS of your choice1 absolutely free! Or, if you prefer, any other Free/Open Source software package. You don't have to decide right away – choose one anytime during your membership. Check our constantly updated Linux CDs page for what's available.

  3. 20% off the standard disc price for all other PLUG CDs and you only pay $20 maximum even if the distribution takes more than 4 discs.

  4. Other Discounts on some very useful commercial Linux products including O'Reilly books, Netraverse products, hosting and Linux Journal subscriptions!

  5. Access to the club's Linux Library of CDs, books and magazines!

  6. Online Help from our member discussion list with suggestions to help you solve Linux hardware and software suggestions.

  7. An entry into every meeting draw for donated distributions, books, software or hardware! You must attend to win.

  8. A yourname@plugintolinux.org address!

PLUG Virtual Membership Benefits

We now have a Virtual Membership Plan for those in other areas who are without a local LUG (Linux User Group). The cost  is $20 Canadian. If you have questions, email the president.
